Hi Folks! 

As a Buffalonian, a fellow lover of history, and specifically a Civil War historian, I wanted to introduce a new Living History group to the WNY region – “The Eagle Guard”. 

Im raising this unit as a way to unite buffs and those who want to become involved in the authentic side of Reenacting. This will be a unit to honor those soldiers and civilians who lived through one of the most important eras in American history.

This unit is open to everyone, but there will be expectations upon each man to adhere to the highest standards set in the portrayal of the common soldier. We will be accepting Caucasian, African American, & Latino recruits. 

To be an active soldier, you must be 18 to 60, in good health, and have a passion for history.
